A Work Event is verified after the assigned Service Provider has either completed the work or is no longer able to proceed and will not be able to complete it now or later.
When the assigned Service Provider checks the Complete Work Event button in their mobile app, a Work Event will progress from In Progress to Completed by Provider status. This is the trigger for the Project Team or other appropriate user(s) to Verify the Work Event and close it. Follow these steps:
- Open the Work Event.
- Scroll down to the bottom and look at the Work Event Deliverables section. Verify that all required deliverables have been uploaded by the Service Provider and they meet or exceed acceptable standards of quality (complete, readable, clear, in focus, etc.).
- If acceptable, move to step 3.
- If not acceptable, scroll to the top and click Send back Work Event to deny the completion and set the status back to In Progress so the Service Provider can upload the correct deliverables.
- Stop now and work with the Service Provider to redo their deliverables.
- Scroll up to the Time On Site section. Verify that the check-in and check-out data is appropriate if not set as optional.
- If correct, move to step 4.
- If not, you may:
- Edit the entries to reflect the correct data and move to step 4.
- Scroll to the top and click Send back Work Event to deny the completion and set the status back to In Progress so the Service Provider can correct their entries.
- Stop now and wait for the Service Provider to correct their data.
- Scroll up to the blue shaded End of Work Survey box at the top.
- Answer the first two questions. Determine the answers via the accepted process your company uses.
- If both are answered Yes:
- Click Save End of Work Survey
- Click Verify Work Event
- Stop, you have finished.
- If either is answered No:
- Answer the two questions Who Should own the fix for the work? and What was the root cause of being unable to complete the work?
- If your company owns the fix and:
- the Service Provider can return to remedy and complete the work:
- Click Send back Work Event to deny the completion and set the status back to In Progress so the Service Provider can complete the work.
- Coordinate with the Service Provider to complete the work.
- the Service Provider cannot return to remedy and complete the work:
- Click Save End of Work Survey
- Click Verify Work Event
- Go to Actions >> Create Child to create a Child Work Event associated with the original and complete the appropriate data fields to reflect the appropriate information.
- Many fields will prepopulate from the original, now a Parent, Work Event.
- Save, Publish, and Route the Child Work Event.
- Follow established procedures on the new Child Work Event to ensure the work is completed.
- the Service Provider can return to remedy and complete the work:
