Once the basic Service Provider profile is created, there are several additional fields to populate that, when tied to Service Provider profiles, enables routing Work Events with a high degree of refined filtering to ensure the most qualified, equipped and eligible Service Providers are presented for assignment.

Assigning Skills

  1. From the Navigation menu, select Service Providers >> View Active
  2. Click the hyperlinked name of the Service Provider requiring edit(s)
  3. In the Service Provider Skills section, use the drop down to select a skill that you want to apply [see Skill Sets in Settings]
  4. Click Add Skill
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to apply all appropriate skills to the profile
  6. If necessary, remove an assigned skill by clicking Remove

The Tools data entry is used to capture any special tools your company uses that a Service Provider may have in their possession.  For example, an expensive test kit that 1 in 10 Service Providers has would be entered here to keep track of who has the test kit for rapid Work Event assignments requiring that test kit.

Assigning Tools

  1. From the Navigation menu, select Service Providers >> View Active
  2. Click the hyperlinked name of the Service Provider requiring edit(s)
  3. In the Service Provider Settings section, Tags & Toolsbox, you search for tools to assign by typing a tool description to see if a match of one already entered shows up.
    1. If there is a match, click it.
    2. If there is no match, click the text you typed to add that tool to the list.
    3. Click Save

The Tags data entry is used to capture any special designation or ‘tag’ you need to assign to a Service Provider.  For example, a group of Service Providers may have attended a special training session for a project or piece of equipment, and you can tag them with the information to quickly find them for Work Event assignments requiring that training or equipment.

Assigning Tags

  1. From the Navigation menu, select Service Providers >> View Active
  2. In the Service Provider Settings section, Tags & Tools box, you search for tags to assign by typing a tag description to see if a match of one already entered shows up.
    1. If there is a match, click it.
    2. If there is no match, click the text you typed to add that tag to the list.
    3. Click Save

Editing basic Service Provider profile data

  1. From the Navigation menu, select Service Providers >> View Active
  2. In the Assignment Snapshot section, click Edit
  3. Edit any of the fields populated when the Service Provider profile was created.  [see Adding a Service Provider]
  4. Click Save
