Dashboards

There are five Dashboards available to display scheduled or in-progress work.  Each are selectable from the landing page dashboard and each has several viewing options.

  • View Full Screen: (#5) This button expands the display to a full screen format for easy viewing.
  • Select Filters: (#7) This is a dropdown menu option that offers several fields and ranges to choose from to filter the Work Event data presented in the Calendar.
    1. After selecting the desired fields and options, click the Apply button to filter the displayed data.
  • View As: (#3) A dropdown menu to rotate between five viewing options:
  1. Calendar: This is the main landing page after logging in and defaults to a view by Week.
    1. Month and Day views are selectable in the upper right corner of the Calendar.
    2. All displayed Work Events are clickable to drill-through to the underlying data.
  2. Full Schedule: Displays a grid of all scheduled Work Events in the selected Time period.  Sort ascending or descending by clicking any column header.
  3. Upcoming: Displays a grid of all scheduled Work Events in the selected Time period with a countdown in the first column and a Provider Contactedcolumn for dispatch awareness.  Sort ascending or descending by clicking any column header.  Color coding as follows:
    1. None: Work Event scheduled to start in more than 48 hours.
    2. Green: Work Event scheduled to start between 3 and 48 hours from the current time.
    3. Yellow: Work Event scheduled to start within 3 hours from the current time.
    4. Red: Work Event did not have a Service Provider check-in prior to the scheduled start date/time which would have moved it to an In Progress status.  This can also occur when there was no Service Provider assigned and the start date/time has passed.
    5. Deep Red (white text) cell: Work is scheduled to start within 3 hours and the Service Provider has NOT been contacted.

The data displayed in this view refreshes every 30 seconds for a near real-time display of current status.

[PRO TIP] In this view, selecting View Full Screen and moving that browser tab to a large display/monitor [on the wall or your desk] will provide you with an excellent view to maintain situational awareness of upcoming Work Event activity.

  1. In Progress: Displays a grid of all In Progress Work Events meaning the Service Provider has checked-in onsite and the work is underway.   Sort ascending or descending by clicking any column header.  Color coding as follows:
    1. None: Ongoing work expected to last more than one hour.
    2. Yellow: The work is estimated to finish within one hour.
    3. Red: The completion is Overdue and the estimated time to complete the work has been exceeded.  [see Estimated time on site, para 8.a]

The data displayed in this view refreshes every 30 seconds for a near real-time display of current status.

  1. Scheduler: Displays a dynamic horizontal bar chart depicting Work Events as filtered in the Select Filters dropdown across the top.  Note that all Work Event times are shown in the time zone of the work location.
    1. Navigation and viewing options include:
      1. Select Filters: A dropdown slider menu that offers display and filter options for the Scheduler grid.  Select one or more options, click Apply, and the dropdown slider menu will close, the selected filters are displayed on the Select Filters bar, and the Scheduler grid displays the results.
      2. Scheduler View: A dropdown menu on the right side offers four view variations:
        1. Service Providers: Displays the Service Providers in the first column of the grid for the Work Events as filtered in the Select Filters dropdown slider menu.
        2. Service Provider Teams: Displays the Service Providers, grouped by Project and Service Provider Team, in the first column of the grid for the Work Events as filtered in the Select Filters dropdown slider menu.
        3. Customer Addresses: Displays the customer address location IDs in the first column of the grid for the Work Events as filtered in the Select Filters dropdown slider menu.
        4. Service Provider Customers: Displays the Customers and Work Events by Service Provider when one or more Service Providers are selected in the Select Filters dropdown slider menu.
      3. Switch to Hours Scale: Changes the horizontal axis scale to show the timeline by hours and days.  This link alternates with the Switch to Days Scale option.
      4. Switch to Days Scale: Changes the horizontal axis scale to show the timeline by months and days.  This link alternates with the Switch to Hours Scale option.
      5. Show Child Work Events: By default, the Scheduler shows stand-alone Work Events and Parent Work Events.  This link will expose all Child Work Events as well.  The link alternates with the Hide Child Work Events option.  [see Work Event Hierarchy]
      6. Hide Child Work Events: Hides the Child Work Events displayed when the Show Child Work Events link is selected.  This link alternates with the Show Child Work Events option.  [see Work Event Hierarchy]
    2. Work Event rescheduling options include:
      1. Users with certain assigned roles can rapidly reschedule Work Events in the Scheduler through the drag-and-drop feature.
        1. Click and hold, then drag the Work Event to the new desired date/time, drop it, and click OK in the popup warning.
        2. Click and hold, then drag the left or right edge of a Work Event to change the start or end date/time, drop it, and click OK in the popup warning.
