When an asset is worked on or has any change in location, condition, or use, it should be noted in the asset profile in ServiceDemand.
- In the Assets List screen, click the edit icon on the asset to open the Update Asset screen.
- Make entries as necessary to reflect changes in:
- ASSET USE
- ASSET CONDITION
- ASSET LOCATION TYPE
- On Site: At a location that is not one of the next three
- Warehoused: Usually a ready spare and located in a warehouse or ready-to-issue location
- In Transit: Moving from one location to another
- Personal Use: Assigned to an employee for use. Usually a mobile device like laptop or mobile phone
- ASSET LOCATION ADDRESS
- SELECT REPLACEMENT: If the asset is being swapped, use the Select box or barcode scanner to identify the replacement asset
- SELECT NEW PARENT: If this asset is a component (Child) of another asset (Parent) , and is moving to a new parent, use the Select box or barcode scanner to identify the new Parent asset.
- Click Save Updates
